1997: interaction of domains for function of proteins and domains.

1998: interaction of domains, proteins and their expression concept

1999: the first protein structural interaction map created. (the term interactome was used locally)

2000: many subsequent ideas related to psimap and interactome were formualated such as network analysis, network biology, visualization of interaction, interactability, hub nodes, robustness of interaction network, PEIMAP, etc.

2001: first psimap paper published in JMB.

2001: PSIEYE and others were being developed mainly by Michael Schroeder's group in collaboration with Jong Bhak group.

2002: Network biology concept was published in IEEE.

2003: visualization work was carried out by Dr. KyungSook Han'g group.

2003: The first Human Interactome Map (theoretical) was constructed 

2004: PSIbase made,

2004: Interpare, interfaceome were constructed
